Roadblocks around President’s Office
Police say that roadblocks have been set up at the entrances to the by roads around the President’s Office.
Accordingly, roadblocks have been set up from Ceramic Junction to NAS Roundabout in Colombo.
The Inter University Students Federation is scheduled to hold a protest in Colombo this afternoon (24), and they stated that the protest march will commence from Colombo Fort.
Following roads may also be closed today;
- Chaitya Road and Janadhipathi Mawatha from NSA Roundabout
- York Street from Ceramic Junction
- G.O.H. Junction to Bank of Ceylon Mawatha
- Ceramic Junction to NSA Roundabout
- Ceramic Junction to NSA Roundabout
- Lotus Road to Lower Chatham Street
- GOH Junction to Main Street and Lady Bastian Mawatha
