Group of politicians attempt to flee the country!

Attorney-at-Law Sunil Watagala and a group of lawyers have informed the Attorney General that information has come to light that a group of politicians including former ministers are preparing to flee the country.

They point out that those who face charges of corruption in the high courts are most likely to flee.

Therefore, lawyers have also requested the Attorney General's Department to impose travel bans on them to which a positive response has been received from the Attorney General, Attorney-at-Law Sunil Watagala told the media.
