GotaGoGama to be amalgamated and strengthened after 50th day!

Protesting youths have decided to further strengthen the Galle Face protest demanding the resignation of the President by merging it with 'Gotagogam' in other parts of the country.

Accordingly, representatives of the youth representing the Galle Face protest have already begun to visit other protest sites and hold discussions with them.

Today (May 28) marks the 50th anniversary of the Galle Face protest and a wide range of protests were held throughout the day against the government's actions by groups representing various sectors.

The Galle Face protesters say that the aim of this program is to avoid the influence of the state and political parties against their protests island wide and to further increase public participation.
