Notice for O/L exam candidates
If any candidate facing the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination finds it difficult to reach the designated exam centres due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions, they can report to the nearest examination centre, says the Commissioner General of Examinations L.M.D. Dharmasena.
There had been reports of certain examinations centres being affected by the prevailing inclement weather conditions while floods have been reported at parts of the country.
The G.C.E. Ordinary Level examinations commenced on May 23 and will continue until June 01 at 3,844 centres island-wide and with 517,496 candidates in total sitting for the exams.
Some 407,129 of them are school candidates while 110,367 are private applicants.
