Fake social media accounts to be fined!

Several social media networks, including Facebook, have agreed to take new action against fake accounts and fake information posted on social media.

According to foreign media reports, the agreement was reached during a discussion between representatives of social media networks and the European Union.

Representatives from Meta, Google, Twitter and Microsoft participated.

Accordingly, attention has been drawn to a penalty system for misinformation, including fake accounts.

The EU representatives said that strict action should be taken against misinformation and fake information published on social media.
