Fuel price hike from tomorrow?
According to Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) sources, the fuel price increase will take effect from tomorrow (24) according to a price formula.
Accordingly, there is a possibility of increasing the price of every fuel variety by more than Rs. 60.
In addition, a litre of kerosene is to be upped by over Rs. 200, reports add.
Sources from the CPC said that plans have been made to increase the price of a litre of 92 octane petrol by Rs.74, 95 octane petrol by Rs.78, a litre of diesel by Rs.56 and a litre of super diesel by Rs.65.
