Fuel crisis delays O/L paper marking

The Department of Examinations has decided to postpone the second phase of GCE O/L paper marking, due to the prevalent fuel crisis.

Commissioner General of Examinations - L.M.D. Mr. Dharmasena has told the media that despite the difficulties, they were able to successfully complete the first phase of paper marking despite many difficulties and all answer scripts have been brought to the Department of Examinations.

Noting that practicals of GCE A/Ls are also being held these days, he said that results will be announced as soon as possible.
