Tear gas to disperse SJB protesters

The police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse the protesters, led by the Samagi Jana Bala (SJB) parliamentarians at Chatham Street, Colombo, soon after the arrest of former parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra, who led a protest near the President’s House in Fort.
