'Bakeries will completely collapse in 2-3 days!'

President of the All Ceylon Bakery Owners' Association - N.K. Jayawardena warns that the bakery industry will collapse completely in the next two or three days.

Speaking at a press conference held yesterday (07), he said that 50% of bakeries have already been forced to close and they are unable to get ingredients needed for production.

Mr. Jayawardena urges the government and relevant ministers to take immediate action in this regard.
