Probe on damage to Prez House & secretariats!

It is reported that the DIG of Western Province - Deshbandu Tennakoon, has instructed to conduct an investigation into the damage caused to the President's House, Presidential Secretariat and Temple Trees, which is currently occupied by protestors.

During a zoom meeting, he had given relevant instructions to Colombo DIG Chandra Kumara and DIG Rohan Premaratne, who is in charge of the Western Province Crime Division.

DIG Tennakoon has alleged that the properties have been damaged and things stolen and stated that immediate action should be taken before evidence is destroyed.

A range of photos and videos taken by groups that had entered the premises have been making rounds on social media.
