Arjuna Mahendran talks about the SL crisis with CNN Philippines!
Former Sri Lankan Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran has been interviewed by CNN Philippines.
He had joined the interview online from Singapore.
Mahendran still faces charges over the infamous 2016 Central Bank bond scam case.
On July 04, 2022, the first Central Bank Bond scam case filed against 10 accused including Mahendran was fixed for July 22 by the Colombo Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar.
An Interpol red notice has been issued for the arrest of Mahendran, who has been absconding court in connection to the case.
On May 2018, Interpol had confirmed Mahendra was in Singapore.
