Prime Minister - IMF negotiation file missing from PM’s office!

The "Sunday Lankadeepa" has reported that the reports of the talks between the Prime Minister and the officials of the International Monetary Fund in Colombo are missing from the Prime Minister’s Office.

A senior official of the Prime Minister's office had said that several rounds of discussions were held between the Prime Minister and the officials of the International Monetary Fund and the notes of all of them were noted in a file at the Prime Minister's Office.

He had also said that the file was there until then day the protesters stormed the PM’s office and took control.

Senior Journalist Dayaseeli Liyanage had noted in her report that there was important information in that file pertaining to aid to be received by Sri Lanka.
