The escaped shameless former president Gota back to SL in August!

Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is preparing to return to Sri Lanka in August.

The former president, who is currently in Singapore, is scheduled to leave for Saudi Arabia within the next few days.

The former President who will remain there until the end of the month, has planned to return to the country thereafter.

He had given up the idea of going to the US taking into account the safety of his son.

Rajapaksa had informed the Chairman of the SLPP Prof. G.L. Peiris and several other parliamentarians that he would be returning to the country next month.

In his letter of resignation, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa had noted that he would serve his country to the fullest in the future in the same manner that he had served his motherland in the past.
