Three-wheeler driver hacked to death in Katunayake

A 38-year-old three-wheeler driver was murdered at Heenatiyana area Mahagama, Katunayake on Sunday (17) night.

Sri Lanka Police said that the murder took place when the victim was on his way to a filling station to obtain fuel.

According to the Police, a group had arrived in another three-wheeler attacked the victim with swords, and carried out the murder last night.

The Police further said that the murder had taken place due to a personal dispute and the suspects are yet to be identified.
