Two arrested in Rajagiriya with 1.2kg of heroin

 Two suspects have been arrested in Rajagiriya when attempting to transport 1.2kg of heroin in a van last night(20).

They were arrested by the Police STF.

Police also seized Rs.147,000 found in their possession, allegedly obtained from heroin trafficking.

The 39 and 48-year-old suspects are residents of Puttlam and Mattakkuliya.

The Police STF says a 41-year-old accomplice, a resident of Arawwala, Pannipitiya, was also arrested.

The suspects have been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation.
