Man shot dead in Elpitiya

A man has died in a shooting incident that took place this evening (Feb. 14) in Uragasmanhandiya, Elpitiya.

Two unidentified gunmen, who arrived on a motorcycle, had opened fire at the victim, before fleeing the scene.

The deceased was identified as a 45-year-old businessman named Kaludewa Pushpakumara.

According to reports, the victim was gunned down inside his shop.
