Robot restaurant grabs attention in Hyderabad

A brand-new restaurant in Hyderabad has robots serving food to its customers.  The Robo Kitchen restaurant is starting to grab the attention of the city's residents.

"This is a first of its kind restaurant in the city.  The robots in our restaurant have been named a 'Beauty Serving Robot'. We have started out with four robots," Manikanth, a partner running the eatery, says.

Talking about the technicalities, he says, "The customers can order food through a tablet as soon as they enter the eatery.  The order reaches the kitchen.  The robots serve the food.  The response from our customers has been very encouraging."

There is a similar restaurant in Chennai.
