The Importance of Tamil Language given by the Jaffna Municipal Councilt
The Jaffna Municipal Council has passed the resolution that the Sinhalese or the English language should not be the first to cross Tamil language.
The decision of the ruling party P. Darshanand was passed yesterday with the unanimous support of all the members of the Jaffna Municipal Council.
In the resolution it was proposed that the name of "state, private and business enterprises within the jurisdiction of the Jaffna Municipal Council should be placed in the first and second pillars of the Tamil language and should be followed by prefixes in English or Sinhala."
For this all the members gave their whole hearted consent to pass the decision unanimously!
