Two men Stole a Labrador and pawned in Balangoda arrested

Two individuals have been arrested on charges of stealing and pawning a Labrador Retriever from the Balangoda area for a sum of Rs. 7500. 

The Police said the suspects are residents of Kirimetithenna in Balangoda and were arrested yesterday (07).

Investigations have revealed that the men had stolen the dog and had handed it over to another individual in exchange for cash. 

Further interrogations have led the Police to find the stolen Labrador Retriever.

The Police said the suspects were produced before the Balangoda Magistrate’s Court over the offence.
