Vandalistic gang broke into house and stage violent attack on inmates of the house! 3 were injured and admitted in Hospital

A vandalistic gang of 15 members after liquor entered ahouse in Vidathaltivu in Mannar and attacked the inmates of the house violentlyyesterday at about 6.30 pm.

Due to this incident two young girls were injured stronglyand admitted in Mannar Hospital. Thereafter as the treatment was not fruitfulthey were transferred Jaffna Hospital.

It is reported that in Vidahhaltivu in the 5thward the above incident happened on Sunday (19th). The house owner,Antony Joseph (44years) was seriously ill due to the vandalists’ furious attackand his house too was targeted to heavy damage during the attack. The owner andtwo young girls were taken to Mannar hospital and from there they were transferredto Jaffna General Hospital for additional treatment.

The Adampan police has taken steps to find out theculprits of this attack.
