Three sword armed rowdies including one in disguise arrested in J/Suthumalai!

Anotorious rowdy named Kanoji, wanted for many sword attacks incidents in Jaffna has been arrested in J/Suthumalai area while living in disguise since 2019.

Hehas been arrested with the information received by Manipay and Jaffna police intelligence unit.

It is said that he is from Kokuvil and belongs to ‘Thanu Group’ and wanted as the prime suspect for the murder of the owner of the hardware stores in Uppuvely-Kondavil. He was the main culprit for attacking Vinothan house and Ahilasuman house. Two warrants were already issued to arrest him by the courts.

Moreover it is said that he was the main accused who had snatched motorbike in Rajah Cream House too. It is found that his mother is in abroad and with her help he was about to go abroad in one or two months too.

This particular rowdy changed his figure so as to make confusion of his real image and has been living in Suthumalai in disguise since those days.

He and other two have been arrested.
