A Barber –a father of two children losing job due to continuous quarantine curfew became a thief! 7 thefts in temples!!

Fatherof 2 children arrested for 7 thefts in temples pleaded his guilty saying that he had been forced to steal due to the loss of his of hair cutting job in quarantine curfew times.

This particular incident had happened in Ratnapura. The particular suspect was arrested in connection with the robbery of gold jewelries worn to Kalli Ammanin Mahelawatte Sivan Temple.

When he pleaded his guilt before the police he said that he was forced to steal as he had lost his job of barber due to continuous quarantine curfew imposed in the country.

Following this he was put in remand for  judicial hearings.
