J/Urelu- Pokkanai’s gun shooting affair! 3 arrested including Pradweshiya saba member !!- Special police action today.

Threepersons including Vali-East pradeshiya saba member have been arrested in connection with the charge of making hindrance to police duty.

It is reported that yesterday (03), when the police tried to arrest two youth at Pokkanai Murugan Kovil, the above said Pradeshiya saba member had come along that way had interrupted in police action to arrest the two.

Following this, many youngsters had gathered at the spot and had hot arguments with the police. To control the mob the police had to fire warning shots in the air to control the situation.

In this circumstance, the above pradeshiya saba member and two others were arrested.
