Arrest sand robbers! – North Governor Jeevan Thiyagarajah’s order to police

North Governor Jeevan Thiyagarajah gave orders to police to arrest those engaged in sand robbing immediately.

Day before yesterday, in a discussion with Government Agent and police high officers, he had issued the above order to police.

He said that to obtain sand despite the usual routine some get in an unlawful manners. Hence arrest those engage in sand robbing immediately.
