In respect of great lack of cooking gas cylinders in the country, people has been experiencing unbearable grievances in the country.

People living in urban areas including Colombo people living there have been facing many different crises.

 Due to out of stock state people are commonly seen in very lengthy queues to buy gas cylinders at black markets at skyrocketed prices.

Due to increased prices of electric stove and kerosene stove too has gone up to maximum level.

Thereby people in town areas started to use rice cookers to make curries and boil rice too. Some photos of these are going virally.
