Installation of ‘Buddha Statue’ at midnight stealthily! Area people started anti-demonstration!!

In respect of installing a ‘Buddha Statue’ stealthily at midnight in Thirukovil Sankamen Thandiyadi area, a confusion state has been formed and the district people started a protest criticizing the act of religious agitation.

At that time, it is said that some Buddhist priests also were present and following this area people with the help of area councilors and local politicians rushed to the spot and started to protest the installation of the statue.

Protesters have vowed that they wont move from the place until the statue removed. Following this situation the police in large number has brought and amassed there.
