P.B. sends resignation after exposing dirty deals?

President's Secretary - Dr. P.B. Jayasundera has submitted his resignation letter to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, reports say.

He has requested the President to allow him to resign from his post with effect from Jan. 31, 2022, the 'Deshaya' newspaper reports.

Dr. Jayasundera, who accepted his current position on the agreement of doing so for a limited period of time, has remained in the post for two years now.

It is said that he has mentioned the hardships he had to face as well as several persons who had put pressure on him during this time.
