At least bring back the stolen funds: MP Wedaarachchi

At least bring back the stolen funds and make the country better for Lankans, states SJB MP Dilip Wedaarachchi.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday (29), MP Wedaarachchi alleged that the Government has no proper program to ensure that the economy of the country is saved while the Government leaders and the Finance Minister are fleeing the country.

Speaking further, the MP said that with as many as over 60 Ministers going on overseas tours, there is nobody to take responsibility for the funds taken from the Ministries, which are being spent by the same Ministers overseas.

While questioning the direction in which the Government is leading the country to, the MP also pointed out that many essential commodity ships are docked at the Colombo Port, without the necessary funds to free them.
