Reason why SLPA Finance Director was sent on compulsory leave
It is reported that the Finance Director of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) has been sent on compulsory leave due to her refusal to implement the instructions given by a bigwig of the institution.
She has been told to portray in annual accounts that the profits secured by the SLPA in 2021 is higher than that of last year.
After the Director of Finance had flatly stated that she cannot influence her officers to do so, the irate SLPA bigwig had sent her on compulsory leave before transferring the finance manager as well.
