School hours extended an hour

The Ministry of Education has announced that school hours have been extended by one hour from April 18th, 2022.

Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Prof. Kapila Perera stated that these steps have been taken to complete the school hours from the first school term which commences on April 18 - Dec. 23, 2022.

Accordingly, school schedules, including interim vacations, have been submitted to the principals, he said.
