Many hoarded barrels of petrol, diesel recovered from unlicensed traders in Jaffna District! Two arrested …

Two have been arrested for  hoarding a large quantity of fuel and selling at higher prices without license.

It is reported that the above incident has happened in Kilinochi area at Tharmapuram. According to a secret information the police could seize 245 liters of diesel, 478 liters of petrol and 80 liters of kerosene from the two suspects.

It is said that two are to be produced before Courts today and this is being the first legal action against hoarding fuel in Jaffna District.
