About 900 teachers in Jaffna district Educational zones without transfer! Political favoritism in North Ed. Zones ?

It is learnt that nearly 900 teachers in 4 Educational zones except Islands electorate suffer a lot in serving within Jaffna district without any transfer to outer areas.

The above number of teachers are said to be serving in Jaffna, Vallikamam, Thenmarachiand Vadamarachi zones continuously without getting transfer to outer stations.

It is reported that teachers serving in difficult areas such as Kilinochi,Mullaitivu, Vavuniya and Mannar have been expecting their transfers to Jaffna. Of those 274 teachers have applied for transfer to Jaffna and have been waiting for positive response from their zonal office.
