Protestors & Cops in heated exchange at MynaGoGama

A tense situation arose between the protesters at ‘MynaGoGama’ and the Police when a temporary tent that was erected in front of Temple Trees, was removed. 

The protesters continued to question the Police personnel who arrived at the scene, however the Police officer, whose name nor the ID number was revealed, continued to state that he was not ordered by any official to remove the hut.

 A protester also claimed that she was attacked during the incident, which took place early morning today (01).
