Dead body found inside a train in Rambukkana

A body of a man has been found hanging inside a compartment of a train parked at the Rambukkana railway station on Saturday (11).

Police said that the body was found inside the train compartment at around 4:40 am during a routine inspection done by the driver’s assistant, before start of operation.

The deceased is believed to be around 60 years old and the man was wearing a white sarong and a red-black mixed long sleeve shirt. The exact identity has not yet been determined.

Police say that they also found a train ticket from Polgahawela to Bandarawela in the possession of the deceased.
