New circular for admission of Grade one students

Cabinet approval has been granted for a new, revised circular by the Education ministry for the admission of Grade One students to schools with effect from 2023.

The ministry had made the revisions after considering the facts submitted by various parties including the Principals, circular revision committee, the Investigation division of the Ministry, Bribery and Corruption Investigation Commission as well as the Elections Commission and the court decisions.
