Nimal Siripala temporarily resigns from ministerial post!

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has ordered an immediate formal investigation into the allegation raised by the opposition leader in Parliament yesterday (05) regarding a transaction made by the Ministry of Aviation with a private company.

Issuing a statement,the Presidential Media Division said that based on the advice of the President, Ports, Shipping and Aviation Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva has stepped down from his post temporarily until the investigation is completed.
