PUCSL probe result on 5th Lane power outage, today
Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) - Janaka Ratnayake says that an investigation has been done yesterday (10) regarding the power outage at 5th Lane, Colpetty, at the time when the private residence of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe was set on fire.
He has said that it will be revealed today whether or not it was a deliberate act of sabotage and how the power outage had taken place at that time.
The sudden power outage is puzzling as the PUCSL had decided not to impose any powercuts after 6.00pm on Saturday, Mr. Ratnayake said.
The results of an on-site investigation will be revealed today, he says.
