Bus fares to be slashed from midnight

The National Transport Commission (NTC) has decided to reduce bus fares with effect from midnight today (04).

The NTC said the slashing of diesel prices last week led to the decision to revise bus fares.However, the NTC said bus fares along expressways will not be amended.

The percentage by which bus fares will be reduced is be made known later today.
