School Girl dies in school in Puttalam

The Puttalam Police have launched  investigations after a school girl died after she fell in her school in the Managunduwa area in Puttalam today.

Police said the girl fell to the ground while running from the classroom towards the playground for religious observances after the school bell rang.

She died on admission to the Puttalam hospital.

The deceased girl is a 12-year-old, a resident of Managunduwa, Puttalam.
