LAUGFS lowers 12.5kg cylinder price by Rs.500

The price of a 12.5kg domestic LAUGFS gas cylinder has been brought down by Rs. 500 from midnight today, LAUGFS Holdings said.

Accordingly, the new retail price of the 12.5 kg gas cylinder will be Rs. 5,300.

The selling price of a 5 kg gas cylinder will be Rs. 2,120.

The price reduction is mainly due to the fluctuation in global gas prices, the company said. 

On August 17, 2022, the price of a 12.5kg domestic LAUGFS gas cylinder was reduced by Rs. 1,050. The cost of a 5 kg gas cylinder was Rs. 2,320 and the selling price of a 2 kg gas cylinder was Rs. 928.
